Want to revamp my website. Should I hire an ecommerce expert or manage it with in-house resources?
I am the owner and CEO of a printing business with 30 employees that provides services both to businesses and single customers. I want to contract a webdesign company to revamp my website (new site, SEO, e-shop). Would you recommend hiring an ecommerce expert or manage it with existing in-house resources? What would be the typical project tasks, and how should I recompense him/her (fixed fees, commission %, etc)?

- you mentioned e-shop! hire an expert! Budget: consultancy fees $500 per day. Website with e-store functionality and images upload/modification and e-comm pay functionality can cost you fixed rate $5000 to $30000 {at average $15K, including SEO and on-line PPC advertising campaigns -- more than 20K is usually not justified unless you has constant support from them for a period of 3yrs}

- That's a complex question, but easy to answer when you talk to a legitimate expert who can offer very affordable means to achieve your goals and objectives. Bottom line: your Internet sales is dependent upon two things: 1. How much traffic it gets a month, and 2. How well your site converts that traffic into either sales or leads for your sales team. Please keep things simple -- your website and marketing campaigns -- by focusing on the above two fundamentals to online success. Best, www.SalesDrivenMarketing.com
